  • How To: The Renée Way +

    Once a blemish has fully healed and no scab is present, apply one drop to skin and leave on overnight. Use once a day, but less often if visible irritation occurs. Use with sunscreen daily.

Even if you don’t pick at a blemish, the infection beneath the skin can stretch tissue and trigger melanin, leaving discoloration that still needs targeted care.
Any UV light that sees post-breakout discoloration will only keep melanin cells awake. Wear Weightless Protection SPF 30 faithfully every day.
Be mindful how you care for a blemish when it appears. The more you pick at it and mess with it the longer that dark spot will linger.

  • Can I use this product if I’m pregnant? +

    Yes. There are no ingredients in this product deemed unsafe to use during pregnancy.
  • How can I use this product if I'm also using one of your exfoliating acid serums? +

    Since this product uses exfoliating acids, you must be careful to use it as directed. If you're currently using one of our exfoliating acid serums, we suggest applying your acid serum as usual to your skin and follow with moisturizer. Then, immediately wipe the scarred area with a damp cotton swab to wipe away previously applied products. You'll then apply a very thin layer of Post-Breakout Fading Gel. (Note: Our exfoliating acid serums DO help fade post-breakout marks, but this gel will work better.) It's recommended to use this gel no more than four nights a week as a scarred area is delicate and you don't want to cause irritation. If redness or irritation occurs, cut back on usage or discontinue completely.

  • Can I use Post-Breakout Fading Gel on active blemishes? +

    No, this product is designed for post-breakout marks, not active blemishes. For active breakouts, consider using a spot treatment like Night Time Spot Lotion or Daytime Blemish Gel.

Immediate Improvement

Not everyone will experience immediate results based on their skin, but I did! An astounding product! No stinging or burning or dry skin; just a lightning of acne scars and spots and clear pores!

Already noticing a difference

I've only been using this for a few weeks, but the dark color left after a cyst or breakout has been disappearing a lot quicker. I use this under the Anti-bump serum and then use moisturizer and sunscreen and my skin is looking a lot clearer.

Did not work that effectively for me

Used it for 1.5 months. - Slight sign of relief from redness. However, it was underwhelming. Other products have done better.

Also it tingles and makes skin sensitive to sunburn when you apply, but you already know that.
