I had mild to moderate acne, mostly hormonal breakouts, in my teens and 20s. I'm now in my 40s and have skin type number 6 according to Renee's quiz. Even though I no longer struggle with acne, I developed rough, bumpy skin around my nasal folds. The roughness wasn't really visible, but it was driving me bonkers. On occasion, I also got under-the-skin bumps on my chin. I'm not sure if this was acne, as the bumps never came to a head, but I hated feeling the uneven surface.

Even though this kit isn't prescribed for my skin type, I chanced it, and OMG, both of these products are miracle workers! I've tried multiple masks, scrubs, serums, etc., to get rid of the roughness and bumps, but none of them worked particularly well.

The first week I had this kit, I used the Rapid Response Detox Masque, followed by the Anti-Bump Solution, 3 times, and the roughness and bumps disappeared practically overnight, with no dryness, redness, or irritation. My skin feels baby smooth! I'm now using mask and solution 1-2x/wk for maintenance and am so pleased with the look and feel of my skin.

The mask feels pleasantly cooling when I first put it on; the scent is light, kind of citrusy, and the mask is very easy to rinse off, no scrubbing necessary. The solution doesn't have a strong scent either and is completely translucent; it glides on the skin.

I love this kit and cannot recommend it enough. I've since ordered additional Renee Rouleau products to try.
