• Give your glow a helping hand by hanging your head upside down for two minutes at night—really! This instantly encourages blood flow to your face and brings nutrients to the cells.
• Reach for a leave-on acid exfoliator at night to create a smoother texture, make pores appear smaller, and remove dry cells to reveal that oh-so-radiant skin.
• Since your skin repairs itself at night, never pass on your bedtime routine. Skin permeability increases while you sleep, allowing active ingredients to absorb on a deeper level. Feeling lazy? Perform your routine earlier in the evening.
• The ultimate rule of thumb is my “Golden Minute” rule—once you’ve cleansed, apply the rest of your skincare within 60 seconds to avoid unnecessary moisture loss and prevent dehydration.
• Make sure to reach for the cleanser and wash your face in the morning to remove leftover nighttime products and ensure the protective daytime formulas you use (like sunscreen) can work effectively.
