Glow Enhancing Creme by Renée Rouleau is a luxurious cream formulation to deliver vital lipid-rich oils to repair the skin's damaged moisture layers. When the skin looks dull and no longer has a glow, it is often a result of a damaged lipid barrier that no longer seals moisture between surface cells. As a consequence, when light hits the skin, instead of reflecting it evenly, it is scattered and skin will appear lackluster. This advanced creme repair the skin's damaged layer and with continued use, the lipid barrier is strengthened allowing the skin to reflect light, imparting glowing perfection. The result? Wrinkles are less noticeable and skin is supple with a radiant glow that lasts.

This is my favorite of Renee’s products. It makes a really good night cream and works well for dry, aging skin. I use it on top of a serum and wake up with moisturized skin.

I’ve always had sensitive skin but the number of really obvious reactions in the last 10-15 years has been minimal. Enter Renee Rouleau moisturizers. I bought the Sheer Moisture Lotion and the Glow Enhance Creme and I was horribly flaky each time I used them. At first I started to only use the Glow Enhance Crème as I was finishing my day cream (Amorepacific - I actually bought the Sheer Moisture Lotion because it looked similar to Amorepacific which I’ve used for years and years). Each time I used the Glow Enhance my skin looked worse. I thought I was using too much retinal (every 3-4d) so I cut it out. No better. I had to alternate with thicker nicer creams like La Mer to fix my skin. I started to rotate the Sheer Moisture lotion in and I was flaking everywhere, including over my eyes. It’s an additive effect each time I use it; worse than the last time. I’m definitely sensitive to something in these creams.Renée Rouleau Skin Care11 months ago

I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers over the years, but this is my go-to. Even if I try something new, pretty soon I’m back to this one. It feels so refreshing on my skin and I have noticed more light-reflective, glowing skin with a beautiful sheen since using it. It’s soothing and hydrating without being heavy. I have reactive skin and a lot of things bother it, but not RR products. Thank you for being the skincare company I can count on!

I wanted to love this cream but I didn’t look closely at the ingredients before buying. One of the first ingredients is dimethicone, meaning everything in this cream will just sit on top of your skin. So it feels so soft at first but then it clogs your pores. It’s causing crazy breakouts. Wish I could return this one. Feels like a huge waste of money.Renée Rouleau Skin Care11 months ago
Hey Natasha! Thank you so much for your review! We're sorry to hear the Glow Enhancing Creme caused you to break out. You may still be eligible to return the product in exchange for one that works better! You can find our return policy here > https://www.reneerouleau.com/pages/customer-care-return-policy
Additionally, I would encourage you to check out this blog post by Renée, where she discusses silicones in-depth, including Dimethicone > https://blog.reneerouleau.com/silicone-ingredients-cause-breakouts-skin/.
Renée explains that this ingredient, in particular, is quite complicated because it can come in many different weights. She says, "A formulator can use dimethicone that's extremely volatile, where it evaporates off the skin within seconds, making it safe for oily skin types. Or, a formulator may use dimethicone that's extremely heavy with no volatility, causing it to stay on the skin and carry other potentially pore-clogging ingredients into the pores. It's almost impossible for me as a formulator, let alone you as a consumer, to look at an ingredient label and know which weight of dimethicone was used. The bottom line? You can't form assumptions when seeing dimethicone on an ingredient list."
