      Works for me as a moisturizer (if I don't wear makeup)!

      Sometimes when I'm having a couple of areas of breakout, I minimize the products I'm using so I can pinpoint what might be aggravating my now-61-year-old skin (just shifted from Skin Type 2 to 4). My pared-down routine is the Rapid Response Detox cleanser for the full 5 minutes, either just at night or morning and night; Anti-Bump on the actual spots; and then this all over, lightly, to keep my face moist.

      Since the pandemic, I've stopped wearing makeup completely (at least for now), and I learned this trio also works when I'm not broken out, and it seems to act as a sort of all-around preventative routine. I have noticed that the older I get, the fewer products my skin appreciates (I don't mean there are fewer products that work on my skin, but if I layer too many things, it results in sensitivity or breakouts.)

      I just didn't see anyone else commenting on this use of the Daytime Blemish Gel, so I wanted to put it out there!

      Hey, Christina! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and share your feedback! Although it isn't fun, it isn't uncommon to see an increase in breakouts when starting a new exfoliating acid product. This is especially true for those with congestion under the skin. The reason is that exfoliation acids speed up the cellular turnover rate. So, breakouts that may have taken days or weeks to surface are being revealed.       Add this to your morning / pre-makeup routine.

      I love this product–it helps me feel like I'm being proactive during the day in treating my skin. It's clear, so it's absolutely fine to wear it during the day, either with or without makeup. Use this before applying makeup, so your makeup products don't further clog / get into your blemish.

      I find myself using this product the most right before / during my period when my skin tends to break out more than usual. Great product.

      A great spot treatment

      This product does an excellent drop stopping a blemish in its tracks and helping the skin heal quickly, reducing the potential for stubborn post-acne marks. It is not greasy, nor is it drying. It works very well under makeup and/or moisturizer. Use it as needed, see results immediately!
