  • How To: The Renée Way +

    After cleansing, apply toner and vitamin C serum, then follow with a generous, quarter-sized dollop of sunscreen to the entire face (don’t forget your ears!). Next, apply another quarter-sized dollop to the neck and chest. Allow to dry, then proceed with makeup.

Never neglect your neck. Avoid the mistake of using only the leftover sunscreen from your face onto your neck. Since protection depends on how generously you apply it, do one application for your face and another for your neck and chest.
Sunscreen should be called “daylight screen.” Even without lights on, daylight coming through windows exposes your skin to damaging UVA rays. Wear it from sun up to sundown, indoors and out, all year long.

  • Can I use this product if I’m pregnant? +

    Yes. There are no ingredients in this product deemed unsafe to use during pregnancy.
  • How much sunscreen should I apply? +

    You want to apply at least a quarter-sized dollop to your face alone. Your neck and chest require a separate application (meaning you can’t just carry down whatever is left on your hands), so use an additional quarter-sized dollop.
  • Your sunscreen contains oxtinoxate. Isn't this ingredient banned in Hawaii for posing a risk of degrading coral reefs when worn while swimming in the ocean? +

    Yes. Unfortunately, Weightless Protection SPF 30 is not reef safe according to the state of Hawaii. The reason for this is that we never made this sunscreen to be water-resistant for use at the beach. It is formulated for daily use to wear as a moisturizer and can be worn underneath makeup without pilling! Unlike water-resistant sunscreens, our customers don't have to worry about it clogging the pores or feeling greasy. When at the beach and swimming in the ocean, we always suggest using a water-resistant, reef-safe sunscreen."

    Weightless protection SPF 30

    I have been a longtime customer and have very sensitive skin. I have always broken out on sun protection, but this product is amazing. I have not broken out and it really makes a nice moisturizer to apply my make up on.

    Simply the best!

    I've been using this product for years; it's one of my staple items, no matter the time of year or weather. It's not greasy and melts into my skin quickly and easily.     Love love love

    I’ve been using this SPF from RR for about 4 years now and I love it. It goes on evenly, is not heavily scented and pairs well with my makeup over it. I allow the spf moisturizer to set for about 10 minutes before applying makeup. I use this Weightless Protection SPF 30 year round
