Skin Correcting Serum by Renée Rouleau is an oil-free serum to reduce visible sensitivity and prevent the appearance of acne by strengthening the skin's immune system from within to address the underlying cause of the breakout cycle. Many blemish products only focus on treating breakouts topically with drying and irritating ingredients, but very few focus on acne prevention from inside out. With continued use, this advanced formula will restore a healthy, hydrated balance to reveal clearer skin with fewer visible blemishes and scarring. The result? Clear, even-toned skin with reduced sensitivity by Renée Rouleau.

This and the Rapid Response toner have saved my skin. I’ve always been prone to breakouts but in the last several months, presumably due to perimenopause, I started getting dozens of little pimples all over my face, every single day. It was AWFUL. As bad as when I was a teenager. I ordered this and the toner and started using them about two weeks ago. The breakouts have reduced by at least 75%. I feel and look SO much better. I am so grateful. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is so expensive for such a small amount. If it were a bigger bottle that could maybe justify the price, but it’s tiny and it’s not going to last very long. Still, I absolutely love it.

Can't tell any difference, seems my skin may be more irritated. Product way too expensive for amount of product you get.Renée Rouleau Skin Care5 months ago
Hey, Sherry! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
I see you received this product on August 9th. While we would all love to see instant results when trying a new product, the truth is the timeline to see improvements depends on the main product ingredients. In this blog, Renée breaks down when you can expect results by ingredient > https://blog.reneerouleau.com/how-long-for-skincare-to-work/.
If you are experiencing sensitivity, the Advanced Resurfacing Serum included in your order is most likely the culprit since it contains retinol.
You are correct about the price; our products aren't cheap. They are carefully made with the highest quality ingredients. We know that customers have many choices when it comes to skincare, and we provide what we feel are the best possible products at appropriate prices.
You're still well within the return window if you would like to exchange this serum for another! You can find our return policy and instructions here > https://www.reneerouleau.com/pages/customer-care-return-policy

I really wanted to love this product based on the reviews and company founder credentials but was disappointed...again. This is the third Renee Rouleau product I have tried that unfortunately made my skin worse. If I could do things over I wouldn't be swayed by the few positive reviews and go with a brand that offers a more flexible return policy. Paying $10+ for return shipping and only getting store credit with a brand that does not work for you seems like a lose-lose situation.Renée Rouleau Skin Care7 months ago
Hi, Bee! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!
We're sorry that the Skin Correcting Serum didn't work as hoped, and we understand how frustrating it can be as an acne-prone skin type shopping for new products or switching to a new routine. As Renée always says, "Acne is a disease of the skin for which there is no known cure. So, a lot of the time, you just have to try different things and see what gives results."
Wishing you well on your skincare journey!

I have hormonal acne. I've tried attacking it with some of the harshest products (including toothpaste in middle school). The first day I used this serum, I noticed my skin felt and looked much less inflamed. All without the harsh burn and increased sensitivity I was used to. I am on the Type 3 skincare routine, so I alternate using it 3 times a week and the BHA serum 3 times a week. It has a mild odor, cooling gel texture and is a genuine pleasure to use.
