You will notice that we recommend different cleansers for the morning and the evening. We suggest a gentle, sulfate-free gel cleanser in the morning to give the skin a deep pore cleansing, while a cleansing lotion in the evening is more effective for dissolving and melting makeup out of the pores. If you'd like to start with just one, we suggest the morning gel cleanser to be used both morning and evening.

Morning Routine

We recommend a separate routine for morning and evening simply because your skin's needs differ from day to night. During the day, you want to focus on giving your skin protection from the sun and environmental abuse, while providing lightweight hydration under makeup.

Morning Recommended Products

STEP ONE
Cleanse your skin with GENTLE GEL CLEANSER. This provides a deep pore cleansing without stripping and over-drying your skin. On damp skin, apply a nickel-sized amount of gel, work through, and rinse well.

STEP TWO
Saturate a Toning Cloth with our alcohol-free ELDERBERRY TONER. Wipe over entire face. Leave your skin damp with the toner and proceed to Step Three. By leaving your skin damp with the toner, you are giving your skin a drink of water, which is essential for healthy skin. Toning Cloths are a must-have companion to our alcohol-free toners.

STEP THREE
On damp skin, apply at thin coat of VITAMIN C&E TREATMENT. This provides the skin with gentle antioxidant protection to prevent free radical environmental damage while brightening the skin.

STEP FOUR
Rub a quarter-sized amount of AGE DEFENSE MOISTURIZER SPF 30 onto fingertips. Apply to entire face, neck and ears, (even the back of the neck for those with short hair). STEP FIVE
Dab on small amount of Firming Eye Therapy to the eye area and proceed with makeup (optional).

Evening Routine

We recommend a separate routine for morning and evening simply because your skin's needs differ from day than from night. In the evening, your skin is at rest and in repair mode, trying to heal the environmental damage that occurred during the day. You want to focus on calming, healing, removing surface dry skin cells and absorption of performance products.

Evening Recommended Products

STEP ONE
Apply a generous amount of CALMING CHAMOMILE CLEANSER to dry skin. Massage through the skin, wet fingertips, work through again, and rinse well with lukewarm water. We recommend applying the cleansing lotion to dry skin first, as cleansing lotions work to melt and dissolve makeup and oil out of the pores. If your skin is wet, it will dilute the cleanser and not perform as well. We recommend using our Facial Sponges, instead of a wash cloth to provide a gentler cleansing.

STEP TWO
Saturate a Toning Cloth with our alcohol-free ELDERBERRY TONER. Wipe over your entire face. Leave your skin damp with the toner and proceed to Step Three.

STEP THREE
For three nights, apply a thin coat of AHA SMOOTHING SERUM 10% to damp skin. It may or may not cause a mild tingling sensation, which is considered normal. By treating your skin for with our AHA Smoothing Serum 10%, you are exfoliating the skin by dissolving the glue that holds dry, dead cells together to smooth the skin, refine the pores, and accelerate cellular turnover.

You then want to discontinue using your AHA Smoothing Serum 10% to give your skin a break from exfoliation. Research indicates that too much exfoliation can irritate and inflame the skin and accelerate the aging process. Also, AHA Smoothing Serum 10% performs more effectively when not being used all of the time.

For the next three nights, apply a thin coat of SOOTHING RELIEF SERUM or ANTI-REDNESS TREATMENT to damp skin. Using this serum works to feed your skin with nourishment and calming performance ingredients. Alternate the night serums every three nights, using each for three nights at a time.

*OPTIONAL: If you are interested in using a product with Retinol (a gentle version of the prescription Retin-A) to reduce wrinkles and large pores without causing dryness, redness or irritation, we highly recommend ADVANCED RESURFACING SERUM. Here is how to incorporate this product in your evening routine: Use it as your evening serum for two nights, then take one night off. The following two nights use the Advanced Resurfacing Serum again, and then take the following night off (alternating the above two suggested serums on the off nights) and repeat this every week.You can watch this video and read more about how to use it here.

*Choose Soothing Relief Serum for general redness and sensitivity and choose Anti-Redness Treatment if you have been diagnosed with rosacea.

STEP FOUR
Apply a small amount of HAWAIIAN NOURISHING CREAM to entire face and neck.

STEP FIVE
Apply a small amount of FIRMING EYE THERAPY to the area under the eyes.

Home Mini Facial (Once a Week)

Mini Facials are a must for keeping skin healthy and smooth. Your skin will thank you for the extra attention. The proper way to perform a Mini Facial is as follows.

Weekly Recommended Products

STEP ONE
Wash your face with your morning or evening cleanser. Apply a small amount of MICRO CRYSTAL CREAM to damp skin. Follow instructions on back of tube. (Use once with your 3-step mini facial, and twice on its own; or 3 times a week, if you don’t perform your mini facial.)

STEP TWO
Appy a thin coat of SOOTHING RELIEF SERUM (or Anti-Redness Treatment). Masks are designed to push serums into the skin, which is why you will get better results with your Mini Facial by using a skin serum underneath the mask.

STEP THREE
Apply a thin coat of BIO CALM REPAIR MASQUE to entire face. (Neck is optional). Let dry for 10-20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and apply your evening moisturizer and eye cream.
